So, is what you are saying, is that you should order 5 rims and tires if you are getting new. Sorry if that is a stupid question. It seems like a lot of people have just ordered 4.
And here is an offtopic question, but is related: Does Costco special order any rims....or for that matter, stock any rims?

Not necessarily. Just that all 5 should be the same diameter. It won't matter until you get a flat and change one wheel/tire. If you upsized, that spare will be too small and spin faster while the opposite wheel won't spin as fast. That will cause the diff to burn up.
Now if you get 4 tires that are stock size (overall diameter), then that's fine. BTW, I saw your thread with the Enkei wheels. I'm not a fan of big rims on suv/trucks but those are beautiful. Only downside of the SE (for me) was having to stick with 17" rims.

I just called the costco in my area (baltimore) and the service manager told me all bridgestones will be $60.00 off for a set of four. Im not a costco member now but Im about to be!!!

I went to costco today and asked the sales rep. He told me that he could get the 265/70/16 AT Revos for me for a bit over $140. I think it was $148 but can't exactly remember, but he then told me to come back tomorrow (monday) because there would be an additional $80 off a set of 4 tires. I'm going to try to get a price quote from them and see if firestone will beat that price. I'll let you guys know tomorrow.
I went to both costo and firestone today. Costco quoted me $144.99 per tire and if I get 4, an additional $60 off. So basically 129.99 a tire, INSTALLED! I then proceeded to firestone as someone mentioned that they price match. The sales rep at firestone said the best he can do is $152 a tire, not even installed! The printed quote he gave me came out to $691.52 for a set of 4 265/70/16 A/T Revo. That comes out to be $172.88 per tire installed. WoW what a price difference. So hands down I'm getting them from Costco but YMMV.
Oh and I forgot. The Costco I went to had the coupon taped down on the counter so they can scan it. I wouldn't even have to bring one in. Thanks for the offer anyways

I believe you should buy 4 tires plus 1 more for the spare tire as well since it will be better to have all tires the same when you do the rotation.
BTW, how old are your tires? My tires are 7000 miles. If I buy these new Revo tires, what will I do with my old tires. Unless I can sell them to someone.

I too just ordered a set of four A/T Revos yesterday from Costco here in San Diego...same price you were given in Mass. Said it would take a few days to get the tires, but with the $60 coupon (and the $165 Costco Rewards dividend coupon I finagled from the wife...), it will be well worth it.
I went with the OEM-sized 265/70-16, although I was strongly considering the 275/70-16, but I just wasn't sure how the slightly larger tire size would affect performance and gas mileage, while yielding perhaps neglible off-road improvement.
Anyone who has installed the slightly larger REVO care to comment on the difference compared to running OEM sized tires?

She must spend a shit-load at Costco to get that kind of a reward. I totally understand it though, Costco has some great stuff. I am going to sign up for those rewards this year because I may buy my girlfriend's engagement ring there. Some people laugh at the idea, but they have some really nice jewelry. I'm in the same situation on both sides. I need to buy a ring for my gf and did see some rings on costco's site. If I didn't have a connection to a jeweler, I would probably look more closely there.
I have 2800 miles on my Dunlops and they've been ok but I haven't really driven in adverse conditions. I might just make it thru this winter and upgrade next fall. In the meantime, I'll just beat the crap outta them

:If your jeweler connection falls thru then you should email the lady that does the custom ordering for Costco. She has been really nice and helpful so far. And the prices seem pretty damn good too.

i plan on doing it just because it looks nicer IMO when the tires fill in the wheel wells more (without rubbing of course). when you look at our 4th gens....i think the gap (especially in the rear wheel well) between the tire and the fender is too wide.

An aggressive A/T tire looks excellent over the mild mannered Dunflop A/T of the same size.
