Dueller Alenza 255/55/20

Just had them put on on friday and so far they are great. Saturday we had 6 inch of snow and tires performed great , on the highway they are smooth and dont here much noise inside at 75 miles. so far so good. The best part is I got 60 % off through bridgestone.

Aren't those the OEM tire along with the yokohamas? Not much love for them around here.

You are correct. Just checked and found Bridgestone OEM is Dueler H/T rather than Dueler Alenza. Same family though.

no special , just few phone calls to bridgestone and complaint about the original tire which was dueller 245/60/20 which they stoped production . I complained that the original tire was shot at 30 000 miles so i had dealer read the tire and then i called bridgestone and complained. Unfortunately they do not warranty original tire , but the rep said he was going to do something for me so I got 60 % off new tire bridgestone dueller alenza that are prices at 233 dollars /piece.Paid 512 dollars for everything out of the door at local Firestone dealer.

I had a set of Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza in255x65x16 on my 1999 ML 320.

The good; ML sticks to road like it's glued down. You can exit off ramp, brake prior to apex or go as deep as you dare and power right thru turn. Can go a shade over 50 mph thru turn. Great in the wet and dry, snow unknown.

The bad; we rotated and measured tread the other day and they have worn evenly across the width of each tire to remaining height of 2/32" when measured from the wear bar to the top of tread. They looked like they have been shaved for the track. I got 26K miles out of the tires.

More good news; I got such poor tread life Costco is going to warranty tires and I'm going to get a new set of tires.

I should also mention this is wife's SUV so it is not me out there grinding off rubber on cloverleafs. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
