My wife got it for me prob 5 years back or something, it cost about 1200$ but it was one of the top of the line at the time.

Ok Yeah I found a nice 4runner, but it doesn't have a sunroof and this necessary when living in California, so I was just wondering how much they run on a 4runner. Rather buy a supercharger than get a sunroof.

Well, first off, I havent installed the DDM kit yet, the pics I have up are "before" pics...

but my 4runner didnt come with a fog kit, so I dont have a stock fog switch. I have a 96...

I do have Hellas on my bumper, but those wont be run in with the headlights, those stay separate.

ok, so if you havent checked out the install of the DDMs its a few posts above,

but I needed to get a few more recent pics of the storage box up, its almost done, I just need to add a U bracket to each side of the sleeping platform that will run to the stock drings to secure the sleeping platform, then I will prob paint it all black and then put anti fatigue mat over the entire thing,
This is the antifatigue mat Ill be using.

Gerdo was super cool and made me these custom brackets to secure to the frame where the stock Dring goes in.

here is the sub, I put weatherstripping foam in between the edge of the plexi, any better ideas for the plexi not rattling around??

on second thought I shoulda taken out the cargo cover so you could see the actual sleeping platform better... oh well, next time.

its a 12" sub and I covered it with Plexi cuz I didnt want anything I had in the back to roll in there and kill my sub...

but also cuz I will be sleeping on it...

this is a sleeping platform/cargo box, the sleeping platform slides back ontop of the storage box for storage and I can then put my seats back up etc.

Also, I got rid of my sons big old car seat and got him a booster chair (a Cars one) that fits right underneath the sleeping platform no problem.

Interesting... I doubt that this plexi could break, its like 200 times stronger than glass...

well, at least thats what the specs said. I guess a grate would solve the vibrating issue...

when i got my first one i was looking at 2 12 in lighted plexy front box and they said you shouldnt bc they were shooting the screws out like crazy, just fti. but would port it out the side if i were you, makes it sound better

So, almost done with the sleeping platform/storage box,

got a few more layers of lacquer and then some paint.

I need to add a bit of hardware to it that will finish it off by keeping the platform piece in place no matter what...

and then I also have to attach the anti-fatigue/yoga mat.
thats gonna be done tomorrow.

the angle will go down when I remove the back seats... they fit beneath the platform so it will lay flat if I want.
