that was 00spork here on T4R and his lower ball joint broke, but not in the same way that most do, his bolts actually broke out from the lower ball joint...

damn that must be one of those "oh sh&t" moment, what did he do to cause that.

its not a shower rod... its very similar to this Walmart.com: Travelon Car Clothes Rod: Auto Electronics

but it had a different connector at the end... the 3rd gens dont have the hooks like the 4th and 5th gens though, so I pulled off the trim from the side headboards there and then put it in and then snapped everything back in place, it moves a little bit, maybe an inch or two front to back, If I wanted to keep it from sliding I could prob secure the hooks, but when I put it up I was in a hurry.

X3 Scottys stuff is top quality. Im putting his sliders on my 99 just gotta find the time. Sitting in the garage is no help at all on the trail. lol

u guys read my mind! a few days of looking at the pics while I made my final decision made me change from the AOR pointed stinger to the Square one, and the quality and reputation Scotty has finalized it over the 00spork bumper. I bought and paid for the square stinger bumper on Tues. I go on Wed morn the 29th to have him weld it on!


sucks to wait a week! LOL Nquaint took a few days of Scottys time this week for his rear bumper so Im blaming HIM!! LOL :jk:

new bumper by Addicted OffRoad in Greeley, they are awesome, they do great work and are great guys!

also moved my turn signals into my corners.

Its not painted yet but I will get some shots of it completely done after tomorrow and when I go to Moab this weekend

Thanks man! I am so frickin excited about this bumper! I keep looking at pics of it cuz I cant see it from my window LOL

Heres the write up I used,
Toyota Tech: Turn Signal Relocation

However, I only used the sockets, the silicone sealant and the bulbs...

I didnt use any of the other connectors. I just wrapped the connections pretty well in electric tape.

I need to go back in and wire the clear marker cuz I just put the turn in for now... but it left the ckt open so the 4runner thinks that a bulb is burned out and the turn signals are blinking really, really fast.

Thanks SO Much!! I LOVE that bumper! it looks SO SICK! I cant wait to paint that thing and then wash up the Runner for the Moab trip!

If anyone is thinking about debating on a the Addicted bumper or another one, Stop debating, Scotty does great work! that thing is amazing!

one of me getting recovered off the road our campsite was on.
one of me helping my 5th gen buddy off a rock.

and one of me climbing a rock on Fins and Things today.
