My TPMS light has been on forever even though they're all new, except the one in the flat spare that doesn't even match anymore. Will the light go off if I simply remove the spare from under the rig?
No, because the computer is getting no signal from the 5th sensor.
My TPMS light has been on since I switched to FJ cruiser rims and didnt transfer the valves due to one of them having a close to dead battery, causimg the indicator to flash.
If you look for the DIY fix, its cheap and quick.
Its just personal preference. I personally don't want to pay $45 per sensor (Denso) + installation/programming, I just check my psi on a regular basis.
Thanks, yea I get that.
I've never seen the TPMS work in the 4R. Does it give you a pressure (psi) reading in each tire or is it just a general alert to low pressure somewhere? In other words a true gauge or an idiot light?
