Dumb question, extra space under hood

I’m pretty new to Toyota’s, and especially to 4th gen 4runners. On mine (04) there’s a nice big spot under the hood on the pass side near the front, about opposite side of where the battery is on the driver side. Are all 4th gens like this? I’m thinking of making either an auxiliary battery mount or air compressor mount for mine, just seeing if there might be a market for such a thing...

Passenger side of these trucks have a fair amount of room to accesorize. Most people put a second battery in the area by the firewall, and the space by the power steering reservoir can fit air pumps (like an ARB compressor).
