E=locker wiring?

Perhaps the harness is different for the 01? This photo shows the 00 factory harness starting from the driver's kick panel (bottom of the photo) to the elocker axle harness (middle of the photo) to the harness for the rear hatch light (top of the photo). To replace the entire harness I had to remove the interior trim panels all the way to the back of the cargo hold, including the panel at the top of the hatch where the light is mounted. To mount the fuel pump harness I had to drop the tank a few inches to get access to the wire clips.

Nope, if you reread my post I said you only need to remove the panels if replacing the full body harness. I used the harness from a 97 which is the same as the 00, didn't need to drop the tank to replace it. Also, the harness is different for 01-02 so I removed the extra wires from the body harness and only used the wires for the locker in the factory plugs.

Got it in!

Thanks to everyone for the help! Got it installed this weekend. I got a switch, ECU, and harness from BUSMUP808 (Thanks BUS!), and used the plugs he sent, hooked up the 5 wires per the wiring diagrams here, and it all works!
It did turn out to be pretty simple to wire, but I am still puzzled about where those wires end up in the harness. Oh well, guess it doesn't matter now!

I am in the middle of this mod as well, I have the rear end installed, and I have the factory ecu but no factory switch. Does anyone know if the factory switch is a dpdt like guys use when they wire in with relays? I can't find a schematic for it anywhere and would like to use an easy to find, off the shelf type of switch if possible instead of waiting for one to show up in the scrap yard or buying one from toyota. I really want to keep the factory ecu and make use of the dash light for locked indication.
