Early 5TH Gen front aux. light set ups.

I have a 2013 TE Silver with lift and want to ad some LED aux. lighting up front. Please post your early 5th Gens pics with other info that might help me , maker of lights , mounting , switch mounting and such. Any info will be helpful to me .

Also anyone have amber or red/blue flashing LED light bar on top of their truck. Need it for work and don't know if I should set up hidden interior/exterior one's was my orig. thought.

Off topic, but many states have laws against flashing red/white/blue lights unless on an authorized emergency vehicle. Some states do allow for personal vehicles owned by on-call authorized personnel in some situations, but I'd triple check first. Don't just ask people you work with, actually research the law.

Most states allow amber/yellow, which is why most tow trucks, escort vehicles, and private security (mall cops, etc.) use that color.

Assuming your vehicle does qualify, and assuming it's a personal vehicle, I'd go with hidden lights. Behind the grill and in the corners of the back glass behind tint. I can think of any number of situations where a visible red/blue light bar would be a bad thing to have on my personal vehicle. Add a wigwag to strobe your existing headlights and blinkers. Add a white LED bar to compensate for the blinking headlights. olice:

What do you do for work that requires needing red/blue? If you're fellow LE you should check out Whelen since they make all the code3 equipment on any vehicle I've seen, they have some pretty nice hidden lighting units. I would recommend not putting anything visible (overheads) on you POV as that's a great way to get your vehicle vandalized... Now if you're not LE I'm curious why you want red/blue. Some guys were running around Tucson with code equipment installed in their vehicle and were pulling people over and robbing them, one day they attempted to stop an undercover vehicle, that day did not end well for them.
