We used to go there too. Then they changed mgmt. Didn’t like how they operated after that. The guy I always used to deal with has opened his own place on Concord Ave-Frank’s Import.

Thanks, I appreciate the heads up. I lived out there a while ago and they were my go-to shop. I'll let people know about Frank's Import.

Not quite SJ, but Freemont is close, Love Shop Auto opened like 6 months ago. The owner is a great guy. They are taking a bit of a different approach, by making the shop a nice place to hang out while your work is getting done (or just whenever). Without sacrificing quality. They have a passion for Toyotas and Japanese sports cars (though the owner just bought a Bronco...).

I have not had any work done by them, but other friends have and have been very happy. I wouldn't hesitate to have them mount/balance tires, alignments, suspension install, UCA/LCA installs, BMC/CMC (I specifically talked to them about this, they are doing multiple a day at this point).

Not that I would rule them out, but I would want to talk to them more and see their work first hand before jumping into more custom fabrication work.

+1 for Frank's Import. Just replaced my rear axle seal/bearing
