East coast road trip need help

Hey everyone I havent taken my 4runner "Truck Norris" on a road trip yet and I think its time. I live in columbia south carolina and plan on possibly going up to asheville north carolina and maybe johnson city, I think I want to make this about a 5 or 6 day trip, any suggestions on places to go citys to stop in or off road places to play at?

Tellico OHV Park is right on the NC/TN boarder.

Tellico is definitely a sweet place for playing on some trails! I have the Sidekick DVD of some nice rigs running out there, and it looks outrageous--mild or wild, they have it.

There's also Uwharrie in NC.

You could easily hit Uwharrie and Tellico over a long weekend. Damn, all this talk has got me thinkin of planning a trip up there, haha.

I agree elcid, I plan on buying a house later on this year so I want to do a few things before im too financially strapped because you never know what will come up with owning a home. I've always just wanted to pack up and drive into the mountains for a few days.
