Easy way to I.D. Body ECU

How would I know if my T4R has engine immobilizer circuit? Looking at body ECU's. Where has the best deals??

Our 4runner is going to be 100%

Huh. That's a good question. Initially, I thought that only 2001-2 models had the engine immobilizer but quickly realized I need to learn more.

Yup, got the fat key. And the rubber/plastic ring. :fear:

So I see the new $90 fuse block but doesn't specify. Any part numbers I try to cross reference only coe back with $500 answers. I know I can get this thing cheaper than that. So far only $3k deep in a super nice condition well cared for 220k mile 4runner so I don't mind spending a little, but not any more than nessicary.

So I got the rebuilt combination meter on the way (2 weeks wait) and now trying to buckle down and get this bought.
