Broke mine with neglegence when I did the rack and pinion, so I got this one for my girls whip; Needless to say fitment is poor, connectors needed channel locks to press wiring together and I could only get 2 screws on one side in. the other side is half a hole off.

I'll get the pics up. It's working, but It will be replaced with a proper fitting unit at the earliest convenience.

Thanks for the 'heads up' JT. Some of the vintage truck stuff I've bought on ebay has been great, and some has been cheaply made knock-off garbage. Thanks for letting us know what to avoid. It's always good to know where the potholes are! :thumb3:

I got a Celica wheel to fit my Surf but the clock spring plug on the Surf won't mate to the wheel. So I found the part number for the Celica clock spring and they have them here:

It turned up yesterday and it looks like the plugs will match, but part of one of the tabs was snapped in transit. Looks like it's made of melted-down VHS cassettes. I'll see what the garage think on Friday when they fit it - I'd rather they do it so if they set it off it's on them
