Much better color although I think I'd still rather have the other one even though I don't like the brown int. It does have the 'Vertigo' interior, which is fairly rare.

The seat material has SR5 imprinted in it. There were only 10,000 made. Half gray, half tan. Supposedly.

Pimp red interior on red 4Runners lol...
I wish my red door panels looked as good as those up there! ^^^^ Looks like a turbo 4Runner. Adding black really helps the red, there's just too much red stock.
All things considered, I'm glad I don't have brown, would trade for gray though. I like to think, for a red interior, mine looks better than most.

Yes ur red interior looks so much better with all the black you've added. When that red fades it looks pink. :suspicious:

The original owner of our 89 (1989-1995) added that style fabric backseat to ours which was a wagon model to begin with. Very interesting...

Mine has the SR5 printed fabric with cloth sides. That's cool, I had no idea that was an uncommon thing. I thought all SR5 seats had that fabric.

Only 5K came in gray... So it's 1 of 5000? Then again how many of these trucks were produced so 1 of ???
Another thing was 3/4 went into 4Rnnrs, 1/4 into p/ups.

I emailed the guy with the gray '85. It has a new Advanced Auto 22R-E (is it any good?) with a 75,000 mile warranty and it currently has 8,000 on it, the tires are 31x10.5, he doesn't know the gear ratio, he is the 2nd owner and has had it for 5 years and has never taken it off road, it has an aftermarket cone- style intake, and it has some kind of aftermarket stereo system with decent looking speakers. Hopefully, the fender flares aren't hiding anything. Can anyone guess how much lift it has?

Looks to be about a 4" lift, idk... What about the top? What condition is it in? He has it right? He makes no mention of it. Gear ratio is most likely 4:10 if they've never been touched.

I like the gray one 1000 times more than the red one. better color, better interior color, love the SR5 print, Grant GT steering wheel,speaker kick pannels, fender flairs for wider wheels, nice wheels, better mirrors, bikini top + hard top, tilt gauges (or what ever they are called. Sorry Im tired!)

I had no idea there were so many fabric options. Ill have to look & see what mine look like. All the seats have seat covers. All I ever did was pull up the side of the seat cover to see if the drivers seat looked worn out on the edge. It was not.
