ebay tie rod ends/ ball joints question

my 86 is lifted 4 inches with a 3 inch body lift. I just recently bought it so im not to familiar with the IFS system. im asking will the idler arm and pitman arm work lifted? if its a stupid question im sorry. I looked on the search forum but never got a solid answer on quality or compatibility with lifted 4 runners

I can't speak for compatibility but as far as quality goes, you always get what you pay for. I'd question the quality of said products for that price. And personally when it comes to steering or braking components I NEVER skimp on them. I couldn't live with myself if something happened because of a low quality part I installed

supposed to be all moog parts but my question still is will they work on a lifted 4 runner with a body lift? I know the ball joints will and tie rod ends but the idler arm and pitman arm?

The body lift is irrelevant. Your idler and pitman bolt to the frame, and point to the tie rod which is entirely unaffected by the bracket lift too. I think you'll be fine with stock parts.

I gotta say, a four inch bracket lift and a three inch body lift seems excessive. If you were actually running big enough tires to need all that lift, you'd break a CV every time you put it in gear.

Don't cheap out on those parts. buy 555 sankei or moog at the minimum. OEM if you want to spend the dough. cheap parts are garbage.

I'm not exactly sure on the lift size for the suspension or / body. This is a army post and hunting truck. I doubt it will see over 50 mph on the road. Thank you all for the replies I will start a build thread once I save a few more paychecks and distract the wife long enough to buy parts
