Ebay's freedom offroad uca? Updated!

Just stumbled on these uca's from freedom off road while searching through ebay. Design looks the same as camburg ball joints uca but with a little difference with sensor wire bracket. I contacted freedom this morning to inquire about there ball joints and they to be proprietary. Uca's are priced around 290 and ball joints are 35. I might pull the trigger on these tonight. Look at this on eBay Front Upper Control Arms for 2-4" Lift For 2003-09 4Runner 2007-14 FJ FO-T702FU | eBay

Never head of the brand but many of these companies share resources behind the scenes so your suspicion may be right.

I personally went with SPC and I'm very content with them.

Im interested as well they look decent and have a lifetime warranty... Do it OP so we can see how good they are :wink2:

It's definitely going to happen. Also I ask where they where manufactured, he replied Taiwan. Not sure if that's better or worse than China

Taiwan is much better than china for manufacturing. AS an example a chinese motorcyle is total garbage, but some taiwanese manufacturers are decent.

You know they are crap when they have the sticker facing the wrong way... Just saying.

All the other aftermarket UCA manufacturers have lifetime structural warranties, I doubt these have a warranty for the bushings and ball joint. That would be a good question to ask before purchasing.

They are Camburg replicas. Yes, they're caster correcting. They come with Tacoma greasable balljoints. No problems with them so far.

Thanks for the response. Do you happen to know how many degrees of caster correction by any chance? Not sure if you did a pre and a post installation alignment to find that info out but thought I'd ask anyway.

They also make some cheap coilovers that i have been eyeing but am scared to pull the trigger

I'm not sure of the exact amount. You could message the seller perhaps.

update

ok ordered a week ago and they finally delivered tonight. First off these things seems beefy, 3 gussets; 2 on the bushing retainers and 1 on the ball joint socket. I believe the bushings and ball joints are proprietary from freedom offroad. There is also a snap ring about the ball joint, I think camburgs are just pressed in. Not totally sure this is based on photos ive seen online. Here are some photos.

Congrats dude!! Do those BJs look like they'll last a long time? They certainly don't look like the Moogs that I installed, which is good. I'm not sure the Moog's boot is effective at keeping out dirt.

Another thing I like about the Freedom arms is that bushings appear to be rubber, is that the case?
