well, from what ive read...i am probably making a mistake. but here is my reasoning. Just got a deal on a set of bigger tires, and i am wanting a lift bad. however, i am not wanting to shell out all the money to do it right, with a toytec ultimate lift or old emu...and i cant wait to source all the parts for a Tundra/LC coil lift.....so i am resorting to Rough Countrys lift. It allows me to get the look im wanting without having to disassemble the coils to do the cheap toytec spacer lift. And its cheaper. I figure i can install the cheapo...beat the piss out of it...all the while piecing together the parts i need to do a legitimate lift. Dont get me wrong, I am looking to do some wheeling in the next month, so i plan to turn it into a lift review soon.

Not trying to hate but the strut extension spacers are a bad idea. Get ready to clang over every big bump and wear out upper ball joints super fast.

OP, why not just do a spacer lift for now? Cheaper and honestly, probably better.

Just some patience dear sir. It pays way more in the end to just wait a bit and do it correctly and safely. You and whomever else are riding in this thing. I don't want to tell ya what happened to my buddy's rig last week. Suffice to say, a $180 cost turned into a $1200 fix. That was on the lucky side. Just my two cents-

x2!!! be patient and do it right the first time! going the cheap route and putting unnecessary wear on your rig will end up biting you in the a** later on and probably costing you more money to replace worn out parts you shouldn't have to. do your research, read product reviews, gather parts, then build. you'll be happier with the end result.
