Hey members,
The awesome guys at Ecotechne are offering us an awesome deal on full length roof racks for our 5th gen runners! I received mine last week and I absolutely love the contour of the rack and how it flows with the body, it almost looks like a Trail Edition rack off of the 2010-2013.
They are sending me 12 this time around but we need to close this first order by next Wednesday. They will be here on the 3rd of February and at that time we will star distribution. Final pricing is $700 shipped!! to the lower 48.
Details:
. 2.5mm cold rolled steel.
. Maximum weight it will support is 992lb.
. Absolutely no drilling involved, it uses all OEM attachment points.
. The rack itself weighs about 85lb.
. Powder coated flat black.
. All hardware is included.
The rack will come with two crossbars and one tray(tray is a $80 value for free). If you’d like to purchase extra crossbars and or trays here are the prices on top of the $700.

Tray - $80/each

I just read the details and it sounds BA! I love it and the price is great. I need more room though but man...I really like it. Maybe I should put my kids in a ground tent! Lol

That was my dilemma but I'm going to get a cloth RTT as soon as they launch theirs for my wife's runner. We'll then have enough room for everyone. I just love the idea of not having to deal with set up and break down when I go on long wheeling trips.

Makes sense. My wife actually said I should sell my truck and slide in camper and get another runner to make it worth while with our family size. lol
I'm so glad she is on board with this stuff but outfitting two trucks would kill my other hobbies. :doh:

Really?? I went on their site and I couldn't find anything for a 3rd gen. They only have things from 03 and up.

Yeah... I lost it when I took the rack of to put silicon on the monta to el weather proof it.lol I'll add it when I get a chance.

So I read through the thread. I read where you said it just floats in the front. Can you elaborate on this? It's. It attached to anything up front? Not even legs and double sided tape? Any pics of this?
