Thanks for the update on the ladders, I'm anxious to see the finished product, and design. I will then also need an additional roof top cross bar.

I'm also interested in the Rear Bumper w/ Tire Carrier/Fold Up Tray/and Gas Can Holders when it also becomes available.

And if the existing step design would be made strong enough to use as sliders and bolts to the existing frame mounting points for sliders, and fit on the frame for KDSS equipped vehicles.. then please count me in on the sliders too. I really like the look of them.

They don't provide any but i have an idea... Home Depot sells rubber strips that look like a piece of tire with adhesive on the bottom. I’m thinking those would be nice on top of these.

Hit up your local skate shop or order grip tape online. Comes in black, or whatever color you'd prefer, and is pretty bomb proof for applications like this.

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem. I talked to one of the guys that was in the 3rd batch yesterday and he said the washers were not necessary for him.

I'm from the 1st batch, no washers or trimming was needed in my case.

Here you go, this is what I'm using, plus I added 304 SS HIGH COLLAR LOCK WASHERS #3/8 Qty.-28 Note: you can not notice them between the Black Oxide washer and the nut. Hope this helps.

Good stuff. Thanks! I just ordered this package including the SS high collar lock washers you suggested. Just curious, why did you use both the black oxide washer and SS high collar lock washer? Could you have just used a SS Black oxide lock washer that they had available?

INKED, I wanted the flat washers to rest against the newly powder coated roof rack (to lesson damage potential of gouging the new fresh powder coat and exposing the newly cold rolled steel.) For me the high collar SS lock washer placed against the black oxide SS flat washers has served me well for this and other similar heavy duty applications. After the rack has been installed about 2 weeks/ or right after going Off-road, you may want to re-adjust the roof rack if needed, and re-tighten everything up. By using this process should you need to remove or re-arrange parts of your roof rack in the future, their is less chance of flaking or chipping off the powder coating. Hope this helps.

Powder coat seems fine but that might change once I start bolting it together.
I will be prepared with some rattle can black to touch up if needed.
