Same here. Batch 6 with no tracking info. Emailed Rorck a couple times with no response. Just figured he was busy.

I picked up my rack today. I had it shipped to the local fedex office center. I got to be honest. I'm deeply disappointed in the packaging. In my opinion, they did not really protect the corners. Some of the powder coat is chipped at the edges, interior and exterior facing pieces as well.

I suppose this was a risk I knew about. Should I touch it up? What's the best way to remediate?

Hot damn! What did FedEx do?! That is horrible!!! The pieces were in brand new wrapping when they left here. I'll make sure and contact their customer service to see what went wrong

Mine arrived today. Here's my quick unboxing summary:

Packaging was sufficient, had a little damage to the corner of one of my extra trays. Nothing I can't fix. A few minor scuffs here and there, but overall, not bad. I can touch these parts up. Quality seems very good, not excellent, but very good. Nothing appears abnormal with the holes and mounting brackets. I'll know better about the overall quality as I start to assemble and mount.

I'm happy with the parts, packaging and powder coating. Did I expect some minor flaws in the finish and potential shipping damage? Yes. Did I consider this for the price point? Yes. Would I order another one? Yes. I'll probably have to spend an hour of my time fixing the bent corner of my extra tray and touch up some powder coating...no big deal.

If my schedule frees up by next weekend, I'll hopefully get this assembled and mounted. I'll post pics and a final review.

You should have got perfect pieces as well as [MENTION=149193]superblanco16[/MENTION]. It looks like FedEx did not handle these wit care. I'm going to contact them to see what I can do so this doesn't happen again and also to see if they can do anything about this.

Make sure that its changing locations the next couple days. I got my tracking last week for a delivery on Tuesday the 16th and the location stayed the same and is still the same right now, no delivery. I guess they are having problems with Fedex, I emailed them to see what was up.

Did everyone in batch 6 receive a shipping notification? I have not.

So the first they are sending are to the west coast since that takes the longest to recieve. Once they are finished they will proceed with the rest of the racks. They all should be out by the end of this coming week.

update on mine.. they switched the South and East on my address, got it solved with Fedex, should be delivered tomorrow. I will try and get it on this weekend and take pictures for all you 4th gen guys.

Rorck.. any idea if everything is okay down there? When they were emailing me about the address, Ecotechne sent this...

Good news is my rack came today and the packaging has no rips or tears or dents that i can see. Will unpack it and install alter this week.

Package came in yesterday, I briefly looked at all the parts yesterday and i am happy to say everything appears to be in order, powdercoating seems pretty good too!

I received a notification from FedEx today saying my rack would be here today but it looks like it's still in Venezuela... for those of you that received yours through FedEx did your tracking number look like this until it was delivered?

Mine looked similar, it stayed in VE until it had passed customs, then it updated and tracked along the way to me. I also had received notification that it would be there on a certain day, about a week before it actually came. When I emailed Ecotechne, they said that the delivery date was the estimate of the FedEx people in VE, and it didn't account for customs/import. So you are probably a week out if it is like mine.
