What kind of mounts are all you lucky souls who have your rack already using to mount tools and gear? Mainly shovel, hi lift jack, fuel cans, axe, etc. I just ordered a hi lift jack and want to get some way to mount it up there ordered as well. Thanks!

From what I've seen there isn't a set of instructions in English yet. I read the entire thread yesterday and wrote down all the notes and tips I saw from other people with the rack, if you can read my handwriting then you are welcome to copy off my notes lol.

Basically L brackets on first, small in front, large in rear, the vertical portion facing the outside of the roof. Use silicone and rubber washers to waterproof this when putting it on. Then put on the sides, then front fairing, then rear fairing, then crossbars and tray, and only then tighten everything down, otherwise you will have fitment issues.

Earlier posts were cutting up a piece of aluminum and drilling holes in it for the L brackets to keep the bolts from slipping out, however supposedly that issue has been fixed. If you look back through the posts there are some pictures of the installs including the aluminum bracket, the neoprene washers, etc. I drew little pictures to remind me after seeing them; I should have written down the post numbers or saved the pictures. But they are back there if you take the time to look through.

I'll definitely get some. Just note that this rig is a 2013. I ended up taking the side skirts off and buying the front cap. These would look so much better on a 2014+.

I remember hearing that the front cap was available for the 2010-2013 models.. but i wasnt able to find it.. could you post the part #?
