Hey Guys, this is exactly the setup I am interested in doing myself on my 2015 TRD Pro. Ecotechne rack with RTT and awning. Who's rig is this in the photos? and what did you have to do to the Ecotechne rack to get this mounted? Any customization or drilling required?

Sorry it's taken so long to post pictures of the rack with my Inno cargo box. I use the tray in the back to hold my Front Runner Cub Pack storage boxes. Works out well for me.

We are still in 9th if you want to jump in. They started building the ones on the list already but as soon as you jump in I'll notify them and they'll begin building. It usually takes 4 week to completion.

I just drilled through the case and bars with self tapping metal screws. It holds well.

Not the latest but from group buy #6. I think 2.0 starts on the 7th group buy...I should of waited but oh well..no ragrets (mispelled on purpose).

Ok spent last hour reading this thread. A few questions
Can I order now, what is price and what is included?
In terms of new design what does front fairing look like? Any noice?
Have they improved PC and included fasteners?
Just want to make sure I know what I'm getting in to

Yes, you can still jump in. The price is $750 and this includes tray, two crossbars, PC and hardware. The PC still needs improvement but over all the rack is stout. They are getting a second warehouse and getting their own oven and PC sprayer so they can manage the finish better and so they don't have to contact out.

Update: DHL finally received the permit to export/ import from Venezuela so we are back in track. No ladders have been received yet because of this ordeal.

Is the biggest difference bt the two versions the front fairing and rack holes? Anything else?

Also, I'm having a hard time deciding bt this and Prinsu. One of the biggest pros to Ecotechne is obviously no drilling. But Prinsu doesn't rust. Anyone have issues with rust on their Ecotechne racks?

I had issues with rust. I uninstalled the rack, ground down every piece that had rust marks, and gave it 3 coats of Rustoleum primer and another 5 coats of Rustoleum Flat Black. It now matches the finish of all my other exterior add-ons: flat black, and it's just about as bulletproof as it gets when it comes to rust. I also discovered areas that had rust and were painted over. If I could do this all over again, I would've ordered it unpainted, and would've installed it just once.

The only part I had rust issues with was using non stainless steel bolts to put my L brackets down but I do live in California and we don't have a lot of moisture. The new racks have less chances of rust happening because the got rid of some of the material that was hard to get paint in.
