Received my roof 10 days ago. I was not so happy about noise from 60 mph and up. next day made some deflector and it is works great, at 85 mph no noise at all.

I was in the 8th batch and received my 5th Gen V2 rack last week. The rack was packaged well and was wrapped like a cocoon with several layers of cardboard, shrink wrap and bubble wrap. I finally had a chance to unpack and sort through it and noticed several things.

1. The four mounts that I received look about the same size and 3 out of the 4 mounts cut out letters are reversed. I believe the V1 racks came with 2 small and 2 large mounts.

2. I receive 18 Hex bolts, 36 washers and 18 loc-nuts. V1 racks came with 20 bolts, 40 washers and 20 loc-nuts

3. I received 8 M8 x 1.25 allen keyed bolts with 8 washers and no loc-nuts. V1 racks came with 8 bolts, 16 washers and 8 loc-nuts.

4. I received 8 standard allen keyed bolts with 16 washers and 8 loc-nuts. Same as V1 racks.

I also did not order any extra crossbars or trays.

Folks with the 5th Gen V2 please confirm if you received the same items or not.

Did your crossbars and tray come with the 4 cutouts on the top side portion? If you look at sac602's tray and crossbars on page 81 post 1203 you can see the extra mounting cutouts.

Anybody with the hood scoop that tried the hood rack get a successful fit?? I'm trying to get in before the current batch is finalized. Pm me or let me know ASAP. Might have to be a test dummy.

That is what I received as well. Luckily we were at my buddy's shop and he had the two that were missing.

I'm pretty sure 2 people with a scoop have order it at this point and I keep asking with no answers to if it fit or not. Unfortunately they were people that are not in the forums that bought it. It looks bad ass and I'd get it if I knew it would fit.

Thanks for trying this out. This is going to drive me nuts until I figure out a fix though. I already have re-powder coating lined up based on some of the feedback around the powder coating. Maybe something can be done to lessen the gap with heat shrink.

They started shipping out Thursday, you guys should start getting confirmation once they leave customs.





The price here went from $700 to $750 because of shipping inflation and these prices have always been shipped to your door. I do post on Facebook and Instagram to get the list filled up Fast so members don’t have to wait but it’s not at $850...

It's been over a week since the ladders supposedly shipped. Still no update. Anything on your end, sir?

Hood Scoop and rack

I'm pretty sure 2 people with a scoop have order it at this point and I keep asking with no answers to if it fit or not. Unfortunately they were people that are not in the forums that bought it. It looks bad ass and I'd get it if I knew it would fit.

So I got word back from a user that got the hood rack, not for maxtraxx, but rather a easy to grab from rack(diamond plate mesh and what not). Anyhow, He said the rack itself would fit because supposedly the mounting point can move up or down the hood, BUT if you want to mount maxtraxx brackets, you may or may not get interference. Tough call as it's not a necessity for me, but a nice mod.
