Wait, so they haven't been shipped yet? A few updates ago we were told that they shipped over 3 weeks ago and were just waiting on customs clearance. I'm confused...

From my understanding DHL is on hold until the end of the week because of the whole political status in Venezuela but supposedly that ends this week and everything should be back to normal Monday. They were expecting everything to start moving today but no luck.

Hi Rorck, I understand the tremendous stress you must be going through with all that's happening in Venezuela. I am patient and will not add any additional stress, knowing what's going on in their country. We can only hope for the best for the citizens of Venezuela. Please keep me in the loop when you have any additional information. I do understand it's out of your control at this time. Things have a habit of working themselves out with time., hang in there.

Bad news doesn't improve with age.
I agree that it's an unenviable and powerless position to be in and also I don't fault Rorck for the Venezuelan collapse. I also don't mind being patient - as long as I'm being given accurate information. However, from what I can gather off the internet, Reuter's reports that DHL had suspended all operations in Venezuela around, JUNE 23rd! There have been a lot of reports of orders shipping since then that don't seem to be accurate and the lack of received orders bears that out. Whether, those reports are being given to and passed on by Rorck or not, it's time to take the Red Pill.
The fact that DHL and other airlines have left the country due to the government owing them $3.7 billion coupled with a currency that's not worth the paper it's printed on speaks to the increasing doubt that orders not shipped will be received any time soon, if ever. The elections today are rigged toward and by President Maduro and they won't do a thing except further entrench the country in turmoil. I hope cooler heads prevail and the further loss of life is eliminated but, I don't see this ending good for the Venezuelan people.
The only thing any of us can do now is wait.

Could you take a couple of closer up pics? how does it work on sound reduction? It looks really good! I would love to be able to copy this when I get mine.
Great to know and as others have asked, I too would like to know more about your piece and how tap plastic assisted you in making it.
I have dealt with Regal Plastic locally (Austin,TX) for commercial construction applications and am going to touch base with them to have a piece cut for our rack.
Any dimensions, thickness and type of plastic you have would be greatly appreciated. Also if you can share info on where you sourced the rubber trim, that would be great!

I agree with other members that there isn't much you can do as the situation in Venezuela is out of your control, however, I would like to be given accurate information, as much as it is possible being relayed to you, and to the best of your knowledge. At the end of the day, we did spend our hard earned money for a product that we were told would take one week to ship, and at one point were told shipped 1 month ago. With that said, do we have any updates at this point? I don't mind waiting as long as I have realistic expectations. Thanks.

Ok guys, I'm pushing super hard for them to start/finish shipping every order until date. I won’t run another GB list until everything starts moving. Echotecne and I apologize for such a long wait, any inconvenience and we thank you all for your patients. According to Echotechne, DHL is still running just not as fast as they were.

Thank you sir. Any ETA at all? Are we looking at 1-2 weeks or should we expect another month or more? Like I said, I can be patient as long as I have the proper expectations. If I knew it would have taken this long I would not have even made one comment. But if I'm told it shipped a month ago and I'm waiting anxiously for the ladder confirmation to come through, but don't, and get no updates as to what happened, then we have some issues.

I totally understand everyones frustration as I am too waiting on a rack for my brothers Tacoma and it's been a wile now. They've had everything packaged but from their explanation, even though they schedule a shipment, the protestors were blocking streets so DHL wouldn't even attempt to drive through. Also DHL was on a freeze until this Monday. People should start getting tracking numbers as I got one yesterday. I've been trying to push as much as I'm able to and it looks like everything is moving toward the right direction again.
