Actually, I'm in two groups. My first rack from the group seven buy was delivered just fine. My second rack just happened to fall into the bad timing of a democracy being taken over by a dictator.

Fairing project

The gap on the v2 has been bugging me so I tried to go off of other's ideas on how to fabricate a fairing. Here is a scanned template that you can download, if anyone is interested.

The template fairing is flust with the front most lower step (below light bar step) as pictured here:

This was using 3/32 plastic I got locally. However, 3/32 is too thin; when in the sun it warps, creating a gap.

So I ordered black plexiglass from Amazon. it comes in 48x12 sheets and the seller will cut in half lengthwise so you get 2 6x48 sheets delivered for $15. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0193ML2TI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I added 1" to top of template so it would cover the lightbar gap (I am not running light bar)

I received my rack yesterday. It was wrapped so that it could've fallen out of the plane and not received damage. My ladder did not come with it, so for now I'm assuming that they're shipping separately.

Vulgarian has received his rack and is in group 9. I have received nothing, not a word, not an email not a roof rack and I am in Group 8. Anyone else in Group 8 not received theirs?

Question for those who have roof racks installed, did you vinyl wrap your roof or just leave it as is
