Has anyone from group 9 recieve tracking for their RR?

FedEx was supposed to email everyone in the 9th with shipping confirmation and tracking number. I'll get them together again and send them. They all went out as two separate packages(pkg1: rails, crossbars| pkg2: farings, trays) they should be there today or tomorrow.

I am curious to see if anyone has mounted a Roof top Tent system to this yet? Any Photo's of them, I can't seem to find any.

Yes my wife and I have mounted a Tepui RTT and used it many times already. We did have to the flip the rails over to be able to secure the bolts, but I am in the process this weekend of coming up with a new setup so the tent can sit more flush with the rack.

Got the V2 rack. (4) mounts are all the same size. Is this correct? Should I have received (2) short mounts and (2) longer mounts??

The catahoula pictured in the beach photo above sleeps in the back of the 4Runner (windows cracked of course) on a custom made bed we did for her.

This one as you can see sleeps with us. She's easy to pick up to put in the tent and when it comes to getting her down she waits for you to get on the ladder to then help her down.

My black bolts came in yesterday. Going to take the RTT off today and start replacing all the bolts that the rack came with. Still looking into a plastic deflector for the front to help minimize the wind noise. Just need to find some time to go by Regal Plastics and have them make a piece for me.

Correct! With the V2 the mounts are the same size. I'm happy you finally got it. They are working hard to make sure we are all taken care of.

V1 Rack

So...I'm cleaning out my garage today and realized my Ecotechne rack is shoved away in a corner. I installed it, kept it on for about a month and then ordered a Gobi. Just wasn't meeting the needs I wanted when I couldn't organize thetrays for a platform. I'm willing to give it to a member for best offer if anyone is willing to pick up in Clovis, NM. It's a V1 rack with an extra tray. Send me a PM if interested. Wanted to post it here before the for sale thread.

Let me know what you do for the deflector. Wind noise is significant.

Will do. It will be similar to another user's that was posted. I can't recall off the top of my head what page but there are photos posted here. Mainly just need to decide how thick of plastic and what will hold up in weather. Will do black of course so it blends with the rest of the rack.

Also with the wind noise, we removed the tray from the front and relocated it more towards the rear. That did help but as you say wind noise is significant.

Ladder is made with the same type Steel as the roof racks. Abit of weight to it so the tailgate will not raise up all the way, I suggest upgrading your shocks as well

Thanks for the info on the Cold Rolled Steel Ladder, and shocks suggestion.

Within the next few days I'm going to install new (shocks) Lift Supports with steel ball socket ends... New and improved for added ladders.

#PM3489, SKU 248886-1112W. I hope they fit, and handle the extra ladder weight. Super easy shock install. UPDATE: They fit and work fine with the ladder.

My ladder arrived today. Looks great except the lower mount is bent 180 degrees out. Working on a fix now. Will post pictures later when I get home.
