So, from order to receipt, how long did it end up taking?

About 2 months, I think mostly because of customs inspections. The company is really responsive and they want to help. The distance and shipping make for a frustrating experience, however.

Some of the cuts on the rack are a little rough, and parts are inconsistent. To give an example, my first tray was damaged. The company sent me a replacement but the second tray did not have the same cutouts as the first.

Powder coat isn't terrible but it's not great either. Very easily comes off when you torque down bolts. Rather than have the entire thing repainted I'm going to keep a bit of brush-on flat black rustoleum on hand to cover places that have issues.

I love the look of the rack but mounting takes some creativity. That's fine for me but for some it might be frustrating.

My largest complaint would be the lack of adjustability for the trays and cross bars. There is some adjustability but quadrupling it would be fantastic. This would be a huge improvement over the current design.

Can someone clarify about the differences between V1, V2, V3, etc? I see pictures with different racks but not sure what I'm looking at.

Also, with the issues concerning the powerdcoat, is it possible to order a bare metal rack and then do our own finish? Most of the stuff I get powdercoated I do a sand or media blast followed by acetone wipedown, and the powdercoat will last decades.

Waiting on mine to arrive.. well, actually waiting on shipment varification but I was told it should have been sent out a couple days ago.

I have two questions for those who have theirs. First, I will likely upgrade the bolts to stainless steel. If someone could send me a link to what they purchased or give some suggestions that would be super helpful. I would like to order them now so I can install right off the bat with the proper stainless ones verses needing to change them all out.

Also, I am thinking about getting the Extreme LED X6 Slim 38" light bar. Suggestions if this will be a good fit. If not, what other light bars have you guys mounted to yours?

Well, it’s been 20 days since posting this question. In case anyone was wondering it the light bar listed above will fit. I found someone with the rack who had that light bar and it works for them. I purchased the light bar and love it but still waiting on shipment (or notification of shipment at all) from ecotechne. I had shipment notification late April and then the shipment was sent back (or never left) Venezuela due to the box being too large. Not sure if DHL changed their box sizes without letting Ecotechne know, but it’s all confusing to me. Ecotechne customer support told me they would have the issue figured out and the rack shipped the first week of May. They missed that deadline and still waiting to hear back from them this week. Fingers crossed they get it figured out and on the way very soon.

The ladder is one of the worst designs to mount I have seen. My rear roof and tailgate have deep gouges in them to the metal from this thing.

Now as for the roof rack, I love the hell out of it and could not be happier.

whatever came of the rack for hoods with a scoop? i've been searching for pics but have not found any.

Didn't someone post up a file to print out to make a wind break for the, I think Rev.2 racks? The wind howling is quite loud at highway speeds.
