Does anybody have a accurate wiring diagram for a mid 98 4 runner?
All the repair manuals show is the tacos for that year, and well, they don't match worth a spit.

2nd ? No check engine light= bad ecu or

For '98, I don't have them all. I just have the ones needed to do an engine swap: Engine Control, starting and ignition, 4wd, drivetrain, and the overall. Includes plug pin-outs. 4 cyl or V6? PM me an e-mail address if you want them and I'll try to e-mail them.

Or do you just have a specific question that would limit my effort?

No light when key on engine off is probably bad (or removed by PO) bulb. If you can scan the ECU it's good.
