Eibach/bilstein help!

I have read a ton on this topic, but can't come to a solid conclusion.

I am currently running the Bilstein 1500s at 1.75". I have since purchase the Eibach coils (112-620) and am having them installed Tuesday.

I like the way my 4runner sits now, and if anything, I wouldn't mind gaining a tad more lift (maybe up to 2.5 inches). I do not plan on replacing the UCAs or adding a diff drop.

I see in the product description that the coils should net 1.6" alone, but when you go up to the first notch on the Billies, you magically end up with 3". This match doesn't make sense to me at all, but I presume it has something to do with pre-loading the spring.

Can someone with actual experience please let me know what I should expect with the Eibach and Bilstein (set at 0 versus set at 0.85)! Thanks!

I have the same coils with 5100s. The coils alone gave me approximately 2 inches of lift with the shocks set at 0. I added the toytec 1/4 inch spacer on both sides and I ended up with approximately 2.25-2.5 inch of lift.

So, with the 112620 coils giving a 2 inch lift, then the .85 setting gives approximately 1+ inch of lift also, you would be right at 3 if not more.

That helps. I think I might set the Bilstein at 0. Was that 2 inches after settling?

I also have the same setup. When installed the coils with the bilsteins at .85, gave me almost 3 inches of lift. Settled in just about 2.75. I added a bumper and winch and lost about another 1/2 inch. Back to the drawing board.

Follow up:. Decided to go with the coils on the lowest Bilstein setting. Ended up with 2.5-2.75 inches after settling. They look great and drive great. CV angles look good according to the shop, so I skipped diff drop. Thanks for your help!

I'm late in the conversation, but I do run the exact setup for about a year now. Setting the Bilstein to 0, no diff drop or UCA, the alignment still in the green.

I do run BFG 275/70/R17 Load E and I really love the setup.

I have the 5100s and 620 springs ready to go on my '16 trail w/ kdss, but have been going back and forth on what to do with the rear. I bought some 1" corned spacers for the rear, but am afraid I'll regret not doing rear springs instead. I would like to end up level and not have to do UCAs. Did anyone replace rear coils? If so, which did you use, and what setting in front?

Good info. I have almost the exact 4R (SR5, silver, same wheels) and I'm currently running the 5100s at 1.75" and daystar spacers on the rear. Would like just a bit more lift out of the front and figured I would put in new springs if I'm going to go through the trouble of pulling the front apart again. Was considering the Wheelers Offroad T1 springs (which are made by Eibach) and I think they are the same thing as the 112-620s. Looks like exactly what I want.
