Electric Fan Upgrade?

Hi, I have a 2000 SR5 supercharged, with manual transmission and slightly oversized tires/rims. My stock engine fan is robbing me of HP in the summer months and I was thinking of upgrading it to an electric fan. I was looking at the Flex-a-lite 675 Dual Electric Fan but I read a few people have had bad experiences with it. Does anyone have any other alternatives or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I have looked into this upgrade as well. But I keep having doubt due to all of the negative feedback on E-fans.

Nothing will beat the reliability of a belt driven fan. I would rather not have issues with an E-fan, so the lost power is something I am willing to deal with.

Robbing you of what, 0.25HP?

Why would you buy an efan? Did you resized your radiator, relocated it, or have some custom manifold that creates space issues? ... or is it because you want to induce more failure modes?
