I just added an ARB bumper to my 1999 4R and installed Hella Fog lights using the factory fog switch and wiring. The Hellas are physically ground to the frame. The factory wiring has a red (pink?) and black/white wire. The red wire tested hot with the switches on. The B/W tested no current at all times (neutral). The lights work fine.
However, after a few miles of driving the gas gauge drops to below "E" and the low fuel light comes on. I can not find anything else that is not operating properly with the exception of the rear interior light.
Any suggestions??
Should in connect the two cut B/W wires to ground? Or is it unrelated and I need to take it in for professional help?
