my 2004 suddenly lost use of keyless entry and the rear wiper. I tried to add a fob with the sequence of key on/off, door open and shut, but the system never responded. Unable to tell which fuse powered either (rear wiper/keyless entry), I pulled each fuse to inspect. All good. Now CEL is on with VSC/trac off lights too. I tried resetting the yaw sensor (learned the hard way about hooking up a harbor freight OBD II reader) but the lights came back on shortly after taking off. Any ideas? Has anybody else lost use of the keyless entry & rear wiper only?

That's an interesting group of issues. If it were mine I'd disconnect the battery and spend the 20-30minutes confirming the battery cables are clean and the ground attachment points from the negative terminal are clean/good. Is the battery strong/new(er)?

Once done you'll have to re-initialize the rear window, drivers window and sunroof by running them full cycle while holding the button.
