Electronic power steering pump

So, my belt tensioner pulley bearing for my power steering pump froze up yesterday. I pulled off the belt and the tensioner pulley and drove the 4runner today without power steering. It was kind of a pain at low speeds (below 10-15), but not too bad.

Anyways, after driving it today without the drag of the power steering system I could tell a noticable difference in power. Now much but enough to be noticeable. So I want to get rid of the belt driven power steering pump all together and install an electric power steering pump that can run off of a 12V source.

My questions to you:
Anyone know what the stats are on the 22re pwr steering pumps (ie: min and max pressure, volume of fluid per hour, ect)
Any reasons why an electric pump would be bad?

I'm thinking of using a power steering pump from a MR2, or maybe some other aftermarket pump... not too sure on what pump yet.
