is there a way to do it? from factory?
what's the best way to get it?
TE then add 3rd row
Limited (or sr5) and add elocker
I would like to get a 4runner, with fold flat 3rd row, as many 'pratical' bells and whistles as possible, so 3rd row and e-locker.
Currently own a 99 Limited, love it, but we want the option to tote more people as desired. usually we take dogs with us in the back, but if kids when older want a friend to come, we are squeezed (even with out dogs). the 4th gen doesn't have elocker so no good going that route. the 5th gen sounds like a viable option.
some day when the 99 is 'dead' I'll use it as my off road rig/DD. and wife gets the new car (she'll get the 7 row first) and dead would refer to 'crashed beyon repair, totaled, taken to car nirvana...' so I want the elocker probable grey wire mod, we go camping, ususally really remote (or where high clearance is required) and in our non-locker 97 we got stuck in snow/slush/mud. so elocker to get out of sticky situations (insurance)
so is it possible? post opinions and thoughts thanks!
