I recently built an oem harness for an elocker, I pulled 90% of the wiring from a 96 limited including locker ecu, factory switch, and all pigtails. I built the harness based on BFAD's locker wiring diagram and everything matched up.
The problem is now that it's in the truck and hooked to the locker it won't lock the locker. I pulled out my multimeter and I'm getting 13 volts to the switch and ecu, when I push the button I get a quick few volts to the locker plug with the relay opens for about 5 seconds and then closes and then I get no power at all to the plug. I believe this is normal because the locker only needs power long enough to lock the locker. I also know that you need 5 volts to lock the locker, but I'm only getting about 1.6-2 volts while the relay is open.
I'm not an expert when it comes to wiring, does anyone know why the volts are so low at the receiving end?
