Emblems off a 4th gen!

I know there must be a good amount of people who debadge or take the emblems off their rigs here. I was thinking that it would be a cool original idea to attach the 4th gen emblems to my 3rd gen for a unique look. Does anyone have some extra ones laying about that they could sell to me? I am posting this in classifieds too, but wanted this to be for all 4th gen owners to see. :-)

I'm planning on Debadging this right here soon, the X-REAS, Toyota, and 4RUNNER:

I would definately remove the emblems on the front (2) doors & XREAs on the rear hatch.

I'm on & off w/ the debate in whether or not to remove the TOYOTA & 4RUNNER on the rear hatch.

Your truck is kept very very clean!!

I don't think I could remove "Urban Runner" My 4Runner would be a John Doe without it's name :(

you know it's a possibility I might, because I want to black all of my emblems out anyways and blacking out Urban Runner and then putting it back on would be a pain!

Anyways, I got the 4Runner and Toyota emblems off successfully, unfornately for the XREAs.. it ripped in two :(

I've been searching everywhere for the UrbanRunner emblems on the internet, but I think the model is too new for people to be selling them off. My goal is to turn my rig into a 1998 UrbanRunner! :-)

I'll PM you in the next few days about getting payment your way. I'm in the middle of final exam week, so once I'm done kicking ass and taking tests I'll be able to focus more on my car.

I also just ordered a 6" x 35" piece of powdercoated black diamond hex mesh, so I will actually have a grill again. haha

Your wanting Urban Runner emblem's as well? Hmmmm... I might have to take them off as well. I can see my dad kicking my ass for that one though.. lol. Sounds good man, just shoot me a PM whenever. I just finished my last exam today, so glad to finally be done..

The grille sounds awesome, can't wait to see it once your completed!

That X-REAS emblem costs $27.50 plus tax at the stealerships. And they don't have 'em on ebay yet other than a metal "X' emblem without the "REAS" lettering.

Wow $27 for that little sticker? I tried my best getting it off in one piece, but it was on there good... lol

Well it sounds like someone already called dibs on the UrbanRunner emblems, and I'd feel bad if your dad got on yer case about it. My dad told me that my car looked like a broke down POS after I did my "grill work" the first time around. haha

I'm thinking of taking the TOYOTA letters and putting them on the grill, spaced out a bit so it fills up the hole. I'm all about the custom, one-off home-made mods! :bigok:

Best way to take it off is to use some dental floss but you want to blow it hot with a hair dryer first. Too late now, wish i saw this post earlier.

Okay Fo_SheeZy, finals week has ended and I'm ready to take some time out to get my car all jazzed out with the grill and the elblems. Check your PM's and We'll discuss details

Yeah I tried that and it worked well with them emblems but not with the X-Reas sticker, so I tried pulling it off... lol..
