That sole purpose and use for that device is to lighten your wallet. I'd love to know if there's more than an LED inside but I'm not gonna pay $300+ to find out

Let's just pretend it works. If the EMP is man-made, it means we're in nuclear war and you're going to be likely vaporized or severely burned seconds later.
If it comes from an extreme coronal mass ejection, maybe you'll be mobile. But good luck getting fuel because the power grid will likely be down and the pumps won't work. And would one be truly able to defend themselves from hordes of desperate people?

This will not protect your car from a EMP. It’s a scam if you ask me. If you want to make your car EMP proof you need to shield your entire electrical system and computers. Not practical. Your best bet is to buy back up computer chips and put them in a faraday cage. Better yet, just buy an old mechanical car that has no computer, omething from the 50’s & 60’s or a surplus military vehicle.

Twice now I have been in a car that was directly struck by lightning. Nothing happened to the cars except for a small pit in the paint. Save your money.
