Energy Suspension sway bar bushings arrived today

Well with the help of one jackstand and a 14mm socket things went off without a hitch. The front took about 20minutes. The rear bushings that were sent with the kit were a 17mm which for my T4R does not fit. It's too small and come to find out after removal of the rear swaybar, there is a 21 stamped on the stock bushing. I called Energy Suspension and they swear by the 17 but I don't know what 4Runner they were test fitting when they made the mold.
So far, I have not noticed a huge difference just because I don't have both front and rear done so it's still a bit squishy. If you know where I can find a 21mm poly bushing let me know.

Good work. Definitely a low $ mod with positive results. Have you tried Prothane? Check the link in my signature for the DIY mod thread CJ3Flyer did on this.

wan1122 Any reasons why you are re-using the OEM brackets, Energy suspension should have a new set of bracket come with the bushing package??
I spoke to Kevin @ ES on the phone and they said that the new brackets do not normally come with the bushings unless they determin in their own research that the aftermarket ones would be better and stronger than stock.

Performance polyurethane Sway Bar & End Link sets make your
vehicle's sway bar system much more effective. In effect, it's almost
like buying an upscale/higher performance anti-sway bar! Your sway
bar system never had it so good! Replaces that original, short lived,
and "too-soft" rubber. Dollar-for-dollar they offer the greatest
improvement in performance handling. Greaseable bushings feature
zerk type fittings, allowing for periodic greasing. Channels allow for
the lube to migrate to where it is needed.

actually i just looked at the catalog and it shows the
4 RUNNER 2 & 4WD
2003-08 29mm 8.5135R (red) or 8.5135B (black)
so my opinion is yes, you can use the 29mm such as i have.
took about 4 days to get them here in sunny SoCal probably about a week where you are unless you can find a local shop that has them in stock.
it's a breeze to put them on. 14mm socket and a clean finger to spread the grease. PRESTO..done

Just to keep things clear: It appears there's now bushings specifically cataloged for the T4R. My approach (see sig) with great input from others including kmvreter, is based on installing "universal" type bushings.
Everything in this thread is great. I am just posting this for someone who comes in halfway through the story.

Any updates on the mod? Did you ever add the rears in? Just really curious of how things turned out. Drove home today and was really feeling the body roll so I was searching for CJ3Flyer's thread, but found this instead.
Any recommendation of which route I should take?

From my understing the 2wd and 4wd have different thickness sway bar in the rear..I believe they sent u the one for 2wd..

I did this mod and it greatly improved my swaying problem on the highway. The biggest improvement was going with 3 ply sidewall tires instead of 2 ply.
However what I found was the best approach is to get a set of calipers that measure in mm's and inches measure the front and back swaybar diameters then with a regular tape measure, measure the bracket dimensions eye to eye height from where bracket sets on frame etc, and measure the endlink lenght as well...then go online and search. I ended up just calling the customer service number for JEGS Performance Auto Parts - Holley - Billet Specialties - Edelbrock - MSD - Moroso - Mr Gasket and the guy was real helpful in finding the right bushings and brackets as well as the endlink bushings, he asked me for all these measurements and quickly found the right parts with the measurements I gave him.
