I purchased a pair of used UCA's with ES bushings already pressed in from orbot They were on a 1996 T4R for an unknown period of time and came with no washers. I attempted to fit them to my 1998 T4R but the gap between the inner bushings was 1/4-1/2" wider than the OEM UCA I removed.
As far as I can tell from ES confusing instructions (http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/installation_instructions/energy_suspension/17232.pdf) the bushings and guides appear to have been installed correctly. Can someone confirm the washer is to be placed on the outside face of the outer bushing (next to the pivot bolt head or nut)?
If so, why is there an excessive gap between the inner faces? I'm stumped
