I just did mine... and I removed a OEM/Denso and bought a AC Delco and it didn't fit as tight...
Im sure there could be some differences regards to filter material or spec...
Personally I try and avoid things like the reusable K&N filters after a pretty piss poor service experience with someone trying to clean one.. and they also look like they let more crap though than the OEM stuff.
That's all the experience I have with it, but I think next time around ill probably buy a Toyota / Denso filter.

I've had good luck with Wix filters (air and oil).
I was originally thinking of trying an AFE dry filter (with my future TRD cold air intake), but someone here posted about their experience with it in dusty environments and that it let in quite a bit of fine particulates/dust. Have thought twice now about trying it. I'll probably just use a Wix filter in the CAI when I get it.
