Pretty sure that the parts are the same for all 4th gen 4Runners, v8, v6, 4x4, 4x2. Of course, verify first before purchase since my parts search was for a v8 limited 4x4. The rear shields are the same part number for both sides, but the fronts are different. You will need parts # 8, 9 and 10 (remember, there are 5 clips per shield) on that page, then go and buy from your own dealership or favorite online store.

Some of the members' suggestions here for a DIY solution were really good since the prices for a piece of rubber and some plastic clips seem high, but for me they are pretty specialized parts and worth the money over the time I would spend making my own. Plus, I really like the peace of mind I get from having OEM Toyota parts on my rig.

Yeah, keakar, the site I posted was just to reference the parts numbers. Definitely better prices elsewhere, but once I figured in shipping the cost was about the same to pick up local. Don't recommend that for anyone outside the ABQ, though.

Also, the plastic clips surprised me! When I saw I had to replace the shields after 14 years of use, the shields had ripped away, but every single clip was still securely in place. Take it for what it's worth.

Damn, Ozark! I wish I would have known about rad rubber before getting mine. Same price there for all 4 shields plus fasteners for about the same as I paid for 2 shields and clips at the stealership. When my other 2 shields finally fail I'll definitely replace the whole set with rad rubber ones. Live and learn.

Both of mine recently went out with a terrible noise. Thank goodness it was just the splash guards.

I like the DIY ideas on here and your suggestion of bolts/washers makes much more sense than the plastic clips that I was just about to buy.

I haven't seen you in a while. I need to hit up your site again and see if there are any rides going on before winter really gets here.

The nuts & bolts haven’t budged since I put then in years ago. 1/4x20’s with fender washers!

Take a look at Front Range 4x4 Steve, there are a couple runs being tossed around for this weekend. The lower altitude hills are open but the high altitude are getting snowed in. Right now there are 3 trucks stuck up on Kingston Peak and 3 rescues have failed due to the deep snow. Looks like they’ll be there until Spring.

This has been another crappy year for me to get out. Apparently living like you will live forever isn’t true after all. My younger self wasn’t as invulnerable as believed so this old man’s health is kicking lately.

I’m hoping to get out myself but we’ll see. It’s looking like I might have to head to Moab if the snow comes early.
 
One of my other two splash guards finally ripped so I got the Rad Rubber ones, spent the same amount on a whole set of 4 with clips as I would have after pricing out two at the dealership. I ended up ordering directly from their website since it was the same price or less as elsewhere after figuring in shipping, tax, etc. GREAT customer service, I think I ordered on a Wednesday afternoon and I got them on Friday, with an email tracking update as well. These splash guards are pretty much better in every way than the oem and now I have two extra for when my new oem ones fail. Finally made the right choice!
 
Check out RAD RUBBER DESIGN. They sell the guards for like $50 . Each time I buy one I tell mys elf Im going to make a template but I always forget. they are much more durable than stock and come with all the needed snaps

Someone made a template a while back (I apologize to whoever did, I have forgotten and can't give credit). It's super easy to make new splash guards and you can customize them to your body lift. I made 2 and and 8-year-old daughter made 2, they all fit. We used roof membrane EPDM and it had worked great.

Here are the templates (needs to be printed on larger than letter sized paper):
