Engine Cuts Off

So we were going up a steep paved driveway and decided to do a three point to turn to go back down the driveway. I began rolling backwards and the engine stops electricity goes off. I still had brake pressure. I restart easily and do the turn and head back down. Any ideas?

Were you low enough on gas that the incline caused the fuel to flow to the back of the tank and not get picked up by the fuel pump?

There is some reserve in the brake booster, and it's electric, so as long as the key is on and the battery has power it should work.

Maybe it was a loss of electrical power if you have a loose battery or ground connection somewhere.

Tank was full.
