Engine Help

My 3VZE is locked up, has been since I bought the truck. I have a breaker bar and all, but I've never tried "turning" or "breaking" the engine since I got it. I'm wondering if I need to remove the spark plugs before turning it with the breaker bar so that there's no pressure in the cylinders. Anyone else had a 3vZE lock up and fix it?

Thanks

Assuming that it can turn over (nothing jammed or broken) pull all the plugs and pour transmission fluid in each plug hole (WD-40 sprayed in there would also work) and loosely screw the plugs back in to keep dirt out. Let it sit for a day or so, pull out the plugs again and try it with the breaker bar. If it breaks loose try it with the starter motor. Crank it until it spins freely and until all of the trans fluid has been pushed out the plug holes. Change the engine oil and filter then install the spark plugs and see if it will start.

Thanks for the help! Tried it, but the engine is a gonner. Time to throw in a rebuilt.

I'll post when I get her running!
