I bought this 4runner v6 3.0 and no engine light was on. I have been running it for a month now and no lights. Just the other night when I filled it up for the first time (all other times I just half filled it) with 89 Octane I started to get the check engine light. Now I am going to check the codes and repost but I wanted to see if anyone else has experience this type of behavior with higher Octane? I did put in about 30 litres of 89 just prior to this fill up. The engine does not seem to act any differnetly, does not really hesitate on take off etc... puzzled.

Gas Cap
Make sure ur gas cap is all the way on, click, click, click. And then pull ur EFI fuse to reset ur check engine light.:biggrin2:
