engine miss

I just bought my runner a month ago and it had sat for a couple of years.The engine only had 40,000 on a new factory inst long bloock in 01.I've got the receipt for 5 grand .Any way truck been running great since I adjusted valves.Averaging 24mpg.Around a thousand miles of driving and I got a miss on #3 cylinder checked spark,plug,valves,injector wiring and resistance across injector.Checked with scope and could hear inj pulsing.I tore off the intake and removed the fuel rail .I found #3 and 4 injectors completely clogged.I hope this helps if you truck has sat for a while and you eliminate everything else check the injectors before you pull the head.Which was next on my list

Send all 4 injectors in to have them cleaned and balanced. They'll be better than new.

I cleaned them and reinstalled them today.Runs great.When I Install the new cam, header,and intake .I'll send them off but they're doing fine for now .Thanks for the suggestion.
