engine oil / transmission oil drain plug location

Question for 2004 V6 4X4 4Runner:

What is the location engine oil / transmission oil drain is plugs location in relationship to each other.

Are they easy to get confused?

I have change oil in my vehicles for as long as I have been driving. I just read a post where somebody confused the drain plug for the transmission with he one for the motor oil.

Is this easy to do?

Anybody have pics or a diagram of the location of each?

It's not easy to confuse them. There's a cutaway in the lower pan to get to the drain plug for the oil. This way you don't have to remove the pan just to do oil. You can easily tell where the engine ends and the transmission begins.

I figured as much. There was a previous post where somebody had confused the two. I figured if they could do it so could I. I have been changing the oil, steering components, suspension components, drive line brakes and various electrical and whatever else in my Jeep for the past 10 years.

I recently got the 4Runner. I have never had a vehicle that had an automatic trans that had a drain plug, at least that I am aware of.
