I had a Toyota 1MZ-FE V6 that ran for 250,000 miles on what I determined to likely be the original set of Denso Iridium plugs. I bought the car with 144k miles on it, so even if they had been replaced, which is possible, they lasted over 100k.
My idle got really rough and I replaced them at 250k. it felt like a brand new engine after the new plugs were in. But still, I was amazed that what appeared to be the original plugs lasted so long. I remember the days when plugs were recommended to be replaced at 15,000 or so.
