Engine Replacement

I have a gen 5 with 245K and my engine is gone. Deciding if I should buy a used engine or have my original rebuilt. I would prefer to purchase a used Toyota engines for sale but don't know where. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

Had a 'new' (cough) rebuild put in my gen 3 with a few more miles than yours which immediately took a crap, but the shop thankfully put in another engine for free under warranty that's been fine so far.

Of course, now I'm have a transmission headache. Feels a little like replacing the engine was an expensive way to pospone the inevitable, but it's in great shape otherwise.
