Hello Chaps,
may off the topic- but i dont know where else to go.

I want to use a Toyota engine ( probably a V6 0 to power a 65 kva generator

Could someone suggest a governor for keeping the engine speed accurately on a specified setting?

Have you googled "Engine Speed Governors"? There are several available, just can't remember the company names right now.

Hi Fred, any reason you are going for petrol rather than diesel?

This is just a simple internet search for the USA, for your area of the world you need to do your own web search.

Thanks for that- Yes I did search and i saw quite a few- but i was hoping that someone with experience could suggest a reliable make.

other question :- why petrol not diesel. I want to convert the engine to natural gas and the conversion to natural gas is easier on the petrol engine than on the diesel engine- ( all comments will be appreciated ).
( you guys in the states are lucky with your cheap fuel prices - when I compare with what we are paying i think that your costs are about 1/4 of what it costs us.- then in addition we have as many as 3 power outages a week - mainly because of lack of proper maintenance at the power stations !!)
