Entune 3.2 update

try un-installing entune and re-installing it.

I deleted and reinstalled the app on my phone twice and also downloaded the slacker app to my phone (iphone5) I have the icon on my head unit but not in the entune app on my phone so you cannot sign in and set up. After reading it does not sound like I'm missing much. Lol. this entune is not the greatest .

Did you sign in to Slacker on the ENTUNE app? Just having slacker on the phone does not make it work. You have to sign in to it on Entune as well. Did you download the latest release of the engine app? I don't think the slacker standalone app is even required for it to work. Just the updated entune app.

That's the problem I can't sign into the slaker app in entune because it's not there. It's not listed with others like iheart. When I hit the slaker button on head unit it says not properly linked. I downloaded the real slaker app on my phone on problem. I have the latest entune and update as it updated my head unit with slaker fine just not my entune app on my phone. Real weird.

yeah thats the problem. the entune app doesn't seems to update correctly for everyone. some have the slacker app within the entune app some don't.

if the icon doesn't show up within the entune app, the head unit icon will crash when you start it.


does it show this version when you re-install entune : 1.15.373.19

that's the version I have with the slacker icon within the entune app.

edit : I also noticed that the entune within the head unit doesn't always start the app on the phone now. once in a while I have to manually start the app on the phone to get Pandora to work now.

Slacker shows up on my head unit but not my phone Entune app (iPhone) I reloaded entune app and still no icon. And no way to set up account.
I hoping it just shows up but it's been a day already.

Just tried deleting and reinstalling and no slacker app. Not a huge deal as I don't use the Entune app much.

cant compare the apple version number to the android version number they wont match up.

Yeah checked, It isn't listed.

Yes , the problem is its not listed with the others.

Log onto the entune site through toyota and perform your account linking there....

I figured mine out , when I went online and signed into my Entune account it did not show slacker either. Under profile went to listed vehicles and it had my vehicle as my sold 2013 which did not support this update. Added my new vehicle vin and deleted my old vehicle and all apps popped up online and reloaded the entune app on my phone and slacker is there and all works great now and no more bugs !

I second the need for a a copy of the 3.2 usb firmware loaded to a cloud share. I could use it for my 2014 TPE Head Unit. Working with the dealer has been a fruitless effort for me so far.

It is easier to ask the dealer to transplant the engine than get Entune Software updated or ECU settings customized. They are totally clueless when it comes to Software.

Saw that forum already. The TSB for that download file states support for non-4Runner vehicles. Doesn't really help me with my 2014 4Runner Premium Edition head unit, correct?
