Hey Everybody,
we recently purchased a used 2015 Toyota 4 Runner from a family member who, practically never used his Infotainment System for anything but listening the Radio, not even connected a Bluetooth Device as he didn't know how to, and he never used the GPS because he liked Google Maps better on his cell.
Now we got it, and immediately we paired our Cells, we connected a USB Memory with about 1000 Songs and it all worked great for the first hour of the trip...
then we tried to skip to the next son, and the Music Changed, but the Screen was frozen n the Previous Song...
As the new Song finished, the whole System was in Crash, no more responses of any kind, couldn't change Songs, couldn't switch to Radio... NOTHING
Eventually i pressed the Power Button, and still nothing happened... so i had to press and hold it, and finally the Toyota Logo appeared and the System started Rebooting...
wait wait wait
...
when it was entering the home screen, the screen went Blank and the System Re-Booted by itself.
And now it worked again.
It worked for about 30-40 mins, and then the cycle repeated itself.
On average it happens 1 to 3 times per hour.
So i was searching Online and it turned out that 2014-15 Entune had many problems with Random Reboots.
Even on this Forum i found a post of many people complaining about it, BUT NO SOLUTIONS.
My question is:
Has a Solution ever been found for this issue other than turning the GPS OFF???
